Course Description

This one-day, immersive workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to the core aspects of human spaceflight, covering everything from the historic milestones that led us to space to the technologies that sustain life beyond Earth. Designed for space enthusiasts of all professional backgrounds, this program is delivered through direct expert instruction on Zoom and unique experiential learning in virtual reality.

You will have the rare opportunity to learn under the guidance of a former NASA Chief Scientist, gaining deep insights that go beyond typical text-book knowledge. This workshop also includes hands-on experience via the EngageVR platform, allowing you to explore virtual space stations, examine complex space machinery, and walk on digital representations of the Moon and Mars.     • A dive into space station technology, life support, the importance of EVA (spacewalk) preparation, and different types of space suits.

    • Detailed look at the Moon and Mars as historic landmarks and the future of human exploration.
